Version 5.1

April 29, 2022 By

It has been about a month since we launched the big new site, and it has been awesome to see how it was received by the community. But we didn’t just sit and watch, we also worked to bring you new features.

Decal Locking

To avoid moving a decal on accident, you can now lock them in place. Doing so will deactivate all interactivity on that decal until you unlock it again.

Decal Masking

Ever since we introduced them, decals have gotten progressively better and today is possibly the final step. The visors and the outlines of plates are now excluded from decals.

New Chest Pieces

While our helmet offer has grown fairly steadily, the chest plates have been the same six that we’ve had since within a month after launch. That changes today, where we add four new ones.

  • The Armorer’s chest plate from the Mandalorian TV show.
  • The Nite Own chest plate from the Mandalorian TV show.
  • Rohlan Dyre’s chest plate.
  • The Mercenary from SWTOR.
  • To give the Mercenary its iconic look, we also added breathing tubes to the Chest attachment section.

New Helmets

Of course, no update is complete without some new helmets. This time, AlterEgoArmory reached out again to bring you more amazing designs once more.

  • The Partisan
  • The Auroch
  • The Architect
  • The Grunt
  • The Shrike

Lastly, we made it easier to show off your Mando’s affiliation or achievements in combat by adding more decals.

  • Sigils of Clans Rook and Endor.
  • Tally Marks.
  • We also added a little surprise, in case you need a snack along the way.

Apart from changes to the creator, we also added all known armor-related words to the dictionary, so you can learn how to talk about your kit in Mando’a now.

Just like we always say, we hope you enjoy these new features and you use them to make some awesome designs. If you post them on your socials to share, then remember to tag us.
